WORLD BOOK WEEK….

I’m backhome after the Lucky Star paperback tour at last! It was fun – thanks to all the cool kids I met along the way! World Book Week is coming up, and I’ll be doing some events closer to home in Scotland to help celebrate…
On Monday 3rd March I’ll be going to a World Book Week Tea party at Notre Dame High School in Glasgow. Cool! On Tuesday 4th I’ll be in Edinburgh at the Scottish Storytelling Centre at 10.30am, and at 5pm the same day I’ll be in Morningside for a fab, FREE after-school event with FIDRA BOOKS – if you’re in the area, come along and bring a friend! On Thursday 6th I’ll be at Stewarton Academy, and finally, on Saturday 8th I’ll be running a FREE Writers Workshop at Castle Douglas Town Hall (Castle Douglas, Dumfries & Galloway) from 11-12pm. Hmmm, I’m not really a hippy – I used to be a punk, long ago! However, I do love music festivals, camper vans, tepees and bright, rainbow colours…. so maybe there’s a streak of hippy in there somewhere!!!

Hey Cathy I am really exited because I am now 13 and I am having my party tomorrow. It has been a weird week with the eathquake so I am not really prepared for world book week but it will be awesome because I will be able top get a free book! Thanks

hi cathy!! this is sooo cool!! i love all ur books, ur a brill writer, i wld love 2 b a writer when im older, i write books alot. ur like my idol!! i just finished lucky star it was sooo good, the twists and turns!!! and the whole cat+ mouse thing was brill!!

I love your new book Lucky Star it says on your website it only comes in paperback but i have hard back do u know if you are coming to edinburgh my school is Edinburgh Academy my teacher said that on book week we are having famous writers i was just wondering if you were one of them.
