TOURING & WRITING….

That’s summer over… and it’s STILL raining! Grrr! Hope you had a sunnier time than we did in Galloway, and that you are settling back into school… if you have any cool cheer-up tips to liven up the autumn, send them in through the comments link below!!!
I am busy writing my next book, Angel Cake, but also jetting about on various mini tours… I’m just back from beautiful Islay, so hi to all the fab kids I met there! Next I am off to Perth, Dundee, Fife, Aberdeenshire & Stirling, then Redbridge, Bath, Cheltenham & the FABBY Queen of Teen ceremony near London… wooo!!!! Last but not least, I’ll be in Ireland, touring around Tipperary & Cork.
Let me know if you’re going to make it along to any of these events… and don’t forget to pass on your best cheer-up tips, too! It may be raining outside, but we can make our own sunshine, can’t we?!!!

I love reading all your books Cathy.They give me an idea of the outside world and thanks to Gingersnaps and books alike I managed to say no to these girls that were using me and I’ve got threee best friends now, Georgina, Lauren and Taslimah. I was wondering if you could hold another ‘my best friend rocks’ competition for a chance for me to say thanks for just letting me into their group and so kind are they to me. Also, I cried at Sundae Girl. It’s so sad for Jude to have to put up with an alchoholic mum, dying Grandma and etc. You are the best! I voted for you on the Queen of teen award too.

Hi I have read Driftwood and sundae girl and I loved them to bits they made me cry.The bit that made me cry the most in sundae girl is when the gran died because not long ago my grandad died in an operation thnx for enery book you’ve produced
