All the judges have have their say, and I have spent a few days sifting through the longlist and whittling it down – in the photo you can see my cat Pepper ‘helping’! The shortlist will be announced in Mizz mag’s 8th July issue, so don’t miss out. Shortlisted readers will then be informed by mail, too, and I’ll see them for the fabby award ceremony at this year’s EDINBURGH FESTIVAL. Woo hoo!

i just got the letter in the post telling me that i never got in to the shortlist 🙁 oh well. next year i am going to have to do it on a diffrent friend. i cant wait till endinbrugh book festival were i am coming to see you cathy! i got my ticket the other day :):) eilidh xx
i got the letter yesterday telling me that unfortuneatly, we DIDN’T win 🙁
but we’re not bothered, because just me ENTERING the competition made us even closer, i got to show jade how much i appreciate her, & we’re even betterbestmates, if thats even possible! thank you for making this competition so i could do that 🙂
