HELLO THERE, 2013!

A LOT of stuff happened in 2012. I wrote some books, did a few fab tours, moved house… I had some awesome times, and I am hoping for more in 2013. I have a feeling it is going to be FANTASTIC… for all of us!
I was lucky enough to spend New Year’s Eve with family and close friends, with good food, live music and lots of hugs and chat. We wrote our wishes for the New Year onto a sky lantern (the safe kind, with no metal or plastic parts that can hurt animals) and at midnight we launched the lantern off into the darkness and watched it disappear amongst the stars. I am SOOOOO excited about the secret changes coming SOON on the CC website… we have been working away all Christmas and New Year to make sure it will be ready! Keep a lookout, because all will be revealed mid-January. And if you love the Chocolate Box Girls series, then trust me, you will LOVE it! Have you made any resolutions for 2013? I love the fact that each new year is a fresh start and this year my best resolution is to remember all the good times about 2013 and value them. I’ve even started a Memory Jar, where I write down happy moments and store them in a jar to look through on New Year’s Eve 2013… pretty cool. Happy New Year… have a good one!

Happy new year!! We did wish lanterns but when we set them off at midnight it was windy and they blew into a tree and set fire to the tree!! Luckily it was damp so it went out and everybody was safe!
I love the memory jar idea it’s such a lovely thing to do! I’m going to make one too and I might even put cute objects with memories to them inside and cover the jar in pink glitter cuz I live pink!!
An author just emailed me and said “I reckon you’ll do big things when you are older” best 2012 ever!!!!! x x x
Cathy, I’m running out of books to read!!! I only have 2 more left, and even my library teacher can’t help me (I’ve read most of the books in the library and that annoys her)! When is your next book out and what am I supposed to do in between??? Please Cathy, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELLO! What date is it today???? It’s quite a bit past New year, :-(, now we’ve got the boring wait until Easter, I wish it would snow…. Was marshmallow Skye originally going to be printed as Vanilla Skye coz in Cherry Crush it has a black and white picture of the cover of the book at the back and unless I’m going mad (which maybe I am, might need to take a nap in a minute) it sags Vanilla Skye on the cover????
