SHHHH… CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?

I’m not very good at secrets. I’m fine if it’s a serious, friend-to-friend secret, a heart-to-heart… but if it’s good news, well, I just want to tell everyone about it! So… when Puffin told me some exciting news a few weeks back I was bursting to tell you all. I can’t – I REALLY can’t – Puffin would ruffle their fluffy feathers and get very cross – but… maybe I can hint?
This summer, I met some fab girls at Queen Elizabeth School in Cumbria who’d made a cool trailer for one of my books (you can find out more about them on December’s Secret Superfan page). Another reader, Hazel, has a YouTube blog and reviewed one of my books on it (you’ll see more of her on the Secret Superfan page in January!)
These girls got me thinking, and one of my lovely Puffin pals, Julia, put all these ideas together and came up with the COOLEST idea for the website! It’s a perfect way for you to find out more about my CHOCOLATE BOX GIRLS series… and it’s launching on the website mid January. I can’t say any more just yet, but… I think you’re going to LOVE it!

I know that lots of other nice people here have probably said something like this, but I’ll say it anyway. You sound like a great person, and if your boyfriend wasn’t smart enough to see and APPRECIATE your uniqueness and what you had to offer, then he wasn’t worth it. One day there will be a boy who loves you and appreciates you not for how you look, how much money you have or how popular you are. Don’t beat yourself up about it. I’m waiting for my Alfie Anderson too.

don’t worry these things happen it’s life it can knock you down but it’s up to you to stand back up again, don’t sobb over that boy he’s just not worth it. don’t waste your precious time over him.

I absolutely am ADDICTED to your books! I have a fave book list and whenever I read another of them I have to add to it! They’re just so great!
I’ve read all three of the Chocolate Box Girls series, my best so far though has to be Cherry Crush, but all three of them are amazing!
Lucky Star was the first one of your books that I read, then Dizzy, and it’s so cool that the two have a link.
I’ve just been reading Scarlett, before that Driftwood, now Sundae Girl. I have to admit I’d probably like Kevin Carter if I met him, and the same with Paul (in Driftwood) and Kian (in Scarlett)
I hope to be an author one day, writing the same sort of stories as yours.

I love the Chocolate Box Girls!! My favourite one is Marshmallow Skye because it’s so mysterious right until the end! I’ve just finished reading Summer’s Dream… For the second time!!

I LOVE CATHY!!!!!!! I got Cherry crush for xmas and Summers dream signed!!! I read all of Summers dream on Xmas day as I couldn’t put it down!! LOL
