Angel Cake is fab! I loved all of it! It is definitely one of Cathy’s best books! The Angel cakes recipe is really good, the cakes i made were really yummy! I also can’t wait until July 4th as i am having a party with my friends – Hannah, Ailis, Megan, Laura, Megan and Charlotte! hi cath! i have started reading angel cake,...A SECOND TIME ! it was so good that i couldn’t just leave it there sitting on my cupboard with all the other books that i have finished! i have already read all your other ones a second time! but the good thing is that when you know you are reading a good book, you just don’t want to put it down! thats how i felt when i had finished a chapter an i didn’t want to stop reading! and after i did that with a few other books, i ended up finishing it in one night! a good book also needs to make you think about what could of happened at the end! thats what happens to me when i am reading your books. you can tell if its not a good book when you finished reading it. a good book makes you think about the story after you finished reading it! on the other hand, a bad book doesn’t make you think about what could of happened or what did happen. once you have finished i bad book you just forget about it. but a good book keeps you thinking! all of YOUR books make me think which shows that you are a really great writter! i don’t think you should ever stop writing because i beleive that there is always going to be someone who wants to read the type of stories you like to write! i bet when my sister is older, she will want to read your books! and even if she doesn’t i am going to make her read them and tell me if she keeps thinking about them and knows they are really good! anyway…about angel cake…well i really like angel cake because of the story line! i really like you idea’s that you put into your books and they are all really cool! but the one i liked best was sundae girl! i feld really sorry for jude because of her mum drinking and when my mum read sundae girl, she started to cry when judes gran died. in some of the story, i felt sorry for judes mums boyfriend in the scene where judes mum was in bed drunk and she shouted out the window to him! but i like stories like that because of the really well thouht out problems i your books. you also have a lot of complications in your stories that i love. etc) in sundae girl, judes mum was drinking, her gran was sick and eventully died, she had no dad and there were alot of things happening in her life! thats why i like your books so much and i really enjoyed reading angel cake! bye for now! but not for ever! from your1# fan! aka ashleigh!!!*

ohmigod, CATHY !! Im your biggest and the no. one fan in BRUNEI !! i love your books esp. luckystar, driftwood and scarlett. i started reading yours since im twelve and nw tht im 14, i really couldnt stop reading your books!! ive spend more than a hundred on your seven books and i didnt regret it though it means that i have to forget shopping and dont buy meals during break at school!! i always dream to be a writer and travel around the world like YOUU ! i love daydreaming and your books are just my kind! theyre TOTALLY AWESOME and i couldnt wait to buy Angel Cake. it looks great from the sneak peak =D but the problem is that, your books arrive late in Brunei, i mean TOO LATE and im really disturbed by that fact. i even have to order your book to get them like i do on GingerSnaps and it made me wait for about 8 months or so or below 8 just to have it on my hands. so PLEASE CATHY , MAKE YOUR BOOKS COME EARLY TO BRUNEI . thanks :D love ya!
