That’s summer over… and it’s STILL raining! Grrr! Hope you had a sunnier time than we did in Galloway, and that you are settling back into school… if you have any cool cheer-up tips to liven up the autumn, send them in through the comments link below!!!
I am busy writing my next book, Angel Cake, but also jetting about on various mini tours… I’m just back from beautiful Islay, so hi to all the fab kids I met there! Next I am off to Perth, Dundee, Fife, Aberdeenshire & Stirling, then Redbridge, Bath, Cheltenham & the FABBY Queen of Teen ceremony near London… wooo!!!! Last but not least, I’ll be in Ireland, touring around Tipperary & Cork.
Let me know if you’re going to make it along to any of these events… and don’t forget to pass on your best cheer-up tips, too! It may be raining outside, but we can make our own sunshine, can’t we?!!!

heres a tip! To brighten up your autumn do something you wouldnt do like give your crush a cake with “i like you” in icing. give it a try :c)

I’m settling back at school fine now – in year 10 – can’t believe it, it’s gone so fast! We have to write a short story for coursework which I think I’ll actually enjoy. It would be amazing if I got an A*!

A really good way to start off a new year is to introduce yourself to all the new kids. A friendship always starts with a beginning, right? Smile ’cause everyday is a new day! It’s a free world, why not? Make good choices and study, it will all pay off in the end :)! New year, new boys :D! Be yourself around them! It’s not your apperance that counts, it’s mostly your personallity! Love one another, it’ll keep you out of fights (ecpecially for you ‘rebels’ out there). Any grade, any day: take time to escape the world and just relax from ALL of your stresses. I CANNOT wait 4 the new book Cathy! Sounds great, and delicious! Keep on smiling everyone…

Hiya cathy i read all your books i just wanna read another one – couldnt stop reading gingersnaps i read it all weekend like sarah said its raining here too but instead of singing i read in the rain under the tent i put up. i cant come for any of your events becuase i live in dorset, i’d love to see you and you to sign my books would be awsome. I get bullied at school but your book helped me and with gingersnaps i found out that you dont have to be popular to be cool you can be anything you want.
