Firstly I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who voted for me to win The Queen of Teen award! The ceremony was last Friday and to my shock and delight I WON!!! I was so thrilled and surprised, and I am very grateful to everyone who voted for me.
I have a gorgeous crown now that I will wear as I write my new books, and since I now have new powers as a Queen I think my first decree with be to speak to David Cameron to get the NHS to hand out FREE CHOCOLATE to everyone and to ask him to put daydreaming on the curriculum for schools!! I wonder if he will…
I’m having such an amazing week – my new book in The Chocolate Box series CHERRY CRUSH is out in the shops now!! And I’m on tour meeting readers in schools, bookshops and libraries across the country! Check out my events page to see if I’m doing a signing in your area… it would be great to meet you!
And I’m also very excited about meeting the Dream Team this weekend. We’re having a special party at Puffin Towers so the Dream Team can all meet me and eachother and we have lots of fun planned for them! The Dream Team are 9 top CC superfans who let other readers know about my books – I can’t wait to see them all!

Cathy, you deserve more than just a crown. You deserve a lot of crowns and awards. I really love your books. I’m trying to get all your books to read and create my personal Cathy Cassidy’s libary. And could you please come to Nigeria on your next tour. Although i travel to the countries you tour, i always miss your book signing or any other events. KEEP ON THE GREAT WORK AND DONT BACK DOWN! I LOVE YOU CATHY, YOU ROCK!
