Firstly I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who voted for me to win The Queen of Teen award! The ceremony was last Friday and to my shock and delight I WON!!! I was so thrilled and surprised, and I am very grateful to everyone who voted for me.
I have a gorgeous crown now that I will wear as I write my new books, and since I now have new powers as a Queen I think my first decree with be to speak to David Cameron to get the NHS to hand out FREE CHOCOLATE to everyone and to ask him to put daydreaming on the curriculum for schools!! I wonder if he will…
I’m having such an amazing week – my new book in The Chocolate Box series CHERRY CRUSH is out in the shops now!! And I’m on tour meeting readers in schools, bookshops and libraries across the country! Check out my events page to see if I’m doing a signing in your area… it would be great to meet you!
And I’m also very excited about meeting the Dream Team this weekend. We’re having a special party at Puffin Towers so the Dream Team can all meet me and eachother and we have lots of fun planned for them! The Dream Team are 9 top CC superfans who let other readers know about my books – I can’t wait to see them all!

Congratulations Cathy; you really deserved it! I cannot wait to read Cherry Crush which I shall be buying VERY soon. Actually, in a C2G magazine that my school gets regularly, Cherry Crush is in it and after ten minutes of me jumping up and down and screaming, my librarian relented and said that of course we can buy it xD So yush, very happy. And I will also be buying my own personal copy but I thought I should SPREAD THE LOVE. And the even more awesome news is that hopefully you’ll be at my school come Spring! *Jumps up and down and screams lots* And as my librarian loves me so much, I will be putting my year forwards rather than all those lucky year sevens and eights who always seem to get it. So I shall (hopefully) be seeing you very soon!
