SUMMER’S DREAM…

I have just started work on the third Chocolate Box Girl book, Summer’s Dream… exciting! Just the kind of thing to put me in a summery mood, and right on cue, the sun is FINALLY shining! I have a feeling July is going to be awesome… there is so much going on!
I’ve just arrived in Cork for the extra-cool West Cork Literary Festival, and I’ll be in London later in the week… woo!! By then we should know the winners of the DREAM TEAM search, so watch the website for the results! Puffin will also make a start on the HUGE task of sifting through the hundreds of truly amazing entries for MY BEST FRIEND ROCKS 2011 and the equally fab entries for the COVER GIRL comp. I can’t wait to see the shortlists and make a start on choosing my favourites! All results will be posted on the website and in the free email NEWSLETTER as soon as we know them.

When I lent my friend Cherry Crush she said I was exactly like Summer and from that day on thats all I think about. I love your books they’re amazing, inspiring and so many things I can’t put into words. Please come to Australia I would be there from when you step off the plane!

Hey Cathy , I’ve got Cherry Crush and I’m hoping to get Marshmallow Skye i’ve wanted it for ages…. I also cant wait for Summer’s Dream.Hope its as enticing as Cherry Crush was.P.S I’m a day-dreamer too and i wish to become an author!
Hey cathy I love your books sooooo much I pre ordered marshmallow Skye and I probably will with summers dream too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really enjoy writing just like you I actually won an award at my old school for best creative writer in year five !!!!! I really hope one day I could write as good as you!!!!!!!!!!! What I love most is how you describe things because it makes you really image !!!!! Can’t wait for all the books to come out for chocolate boxes girls !!!!!!!!
Hi Cathy, I just had a question: Which age ranges do you think you’re books are specifically for? Cuz I’m actually 13, and I think they may be more for younger children, like my 9 year old sister!:) If you get the chance to reply, it’ll be much appreciated!

Sounds like an awesome book. I think Coco is my fave character because she is the same age as me. Does she have blonde hair like Skye and Summer??? If she does, shame because I really wanted to enter in the cover girl comp but if she doesn’t then I might enter even though it is AGES away!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And why call her Coco if her hair is blonde because Coco is actually brown.
Im thinking of entering the Cover girl comp for Summer. When does it open?
Btw cant wait until Summer Dreams comes out and I thought it was going to be called Vannila Skye not Marshmallow. Marshmallow sounds better anyway.
