SUMMER’S DREAM…

I have just started work on the third Chocolate Box Girl book, Summer’s Dream… exciting! Just the kind of thing to put me in a summery mood, and right on cue, the sun is FINALLY shining! I have a feeling July is going to be awesome… there is so much going on!
I’ve just arrived in Cork for the extra-cool West Cork Literary Festival, and I’ll be in London later in the week… woo!! By then we should know the winners of the DREAM TEAM search, so watch the website for the results! Puffin will also make a start on the HUGE task of sifting through the hundreds of truly amazing entries for MY BEST FRIEND ROCKS 2011 and the equally fab entries for the COVER GIRL comp. I can’t wait to see the shortlists and make a start on choosing my favourites! All results will be posted on the website and in the free email NEWSLETTER as soon as we know them.

Summer’s Dream sounds awesome! I can’t wait till it comes out – even though I know it will be a little while yet! Of all the sisters, I know I like Coco best! She’s so sweet and funny. 🙂 Thank you for writing such awesome books, Cathy!

I really love Summer’s character as I ADORE ballet and i can really relate to her, I really hope there will be a cover girl competition for Summer because I would love to go for that as well as Skye’s. I cant wait to read all the books! 🙂

I am lovin the chocolate box girls, Cathy! You emailed me and said that honey’s was gonna be called Sweet Honey. Nice. I really heart your books. My fave Chocolate Box girl is either Skye or Honey. NOT Cherry. I find her evil. But because you’re such an awesome writer, when I was reading the books, I actually sided with Cherry because you give everyone motivations. Wow. Just…wow.
