SNOW JOKE…

The snow was cool… and perfect writing weather, ‘cos I was snowed in part of the time and writing Cherry Crush! What did YOU get up to in the Big Freeze? I have ten signed books to give away to the readers who send the coolest snow pics!
This fab snowman, sent by Shannon & Lauren B, got me thinking… I’ve also been sent pics of a snow dragon (thanks, Ana), a snowball fight (thanks, Kate!), and much more! I will post the best on the Your Photos section on the YOU page in a fortnight, and send the ten winners a signed book and a winter warmer hot-choc.
So what do you have to do? Find your fave snow-pic from the last few weeks – a snowman you made, an igloo, a snow-dragon, a pic of you and your friends in the snow… if it’s snowy and something to do with YOU, it’s OK! Put your pic onto the computer & save as a jpeg, then fill in this form with ‘SNOW JOKE’ where it says’What is your picture of?’. Include your name & postal address in case you are a winner… these will NOT be published. The winners will be picked by a panel of judges and the decision will be final. The signed book will be picked at random from my backlist.

In Coleraine there was quite a good bit of snow but last week I went to Bulgeria were there was lots of snow so I might send a picture of me there!
Hi Cathy, it’s been soooo crazy where i live with all the snow and stuff….we have had loads of time off school. But unfounately i have one of those head teachers that will not close the school, even if there’s a hurricane! So on the first day back, it was snowing like craaaaazy and we went in, only to go back home after half an hour! If you dont mind me asking, what is cherry crush? i know it must be a new book but….could you tell me more? anywaays,better be off now, my mum’ll start to think i’m addicted to the laptop!

Awwww, I wish it snowed in Australia this time of year! down where I live, it is very hot! I would love to have it snow down here, but we only see snow once or twice a year (and not in town, only when we go up it the mountuns!)

the snow was awesome especially the fact that my school was closed i didnt go to school for almost 3 weeks!but i did miss my friends i spent most of my time reading your books cathy!I’ve recently bought Letters to Cathy and its awesome cant wait to read Cherry Crush!

Hi Cathy! I had a great time in the snow and so did my puppy Badger! She tried to eat the snowballs me and my sister where making and she barked like mad! I also made snow angels, rolled down our very steep garden hill, and went sledging with my sister and my neighbours down our lane screaming! We where so cold that we had hot chocolates outside which was yum! Anyway I hope you enjoyed the snow Cathy but its a shame its all gone now!
