MBFR SHORTLIST…

All the judges have have their say, and I have spent a few days sifting through the longlist and whittling it down – in the photo you can see my cat Pepper ‘helping’! The shortlist will be announced in Mizz mag’s 8th July issue, so don’t miss out. Shortlisted readers will then be informed by mail, too, and I’ll see them for the fabby award ceremony at this year’s EDINBURGH FESTIVAL. Woo hoo!

I entered this comp with my best friend-also called Cathy! Lol Well her name’s Catherine but I call her Cathy for short 😛
Cathy (I mean you this time Cathy Cassidy lol xD), I want to say thank you for creating this award to celebrate friendship. I know Catherine and I only have a one in ten thousand chance of even getting into the final six, let alone winning the whole thing, but even so, the knowledge that I nominated her for the award made Cathy so happy and it sealed our friendship permanently. She loved my entry-you probably don’t remember it, but it was blue, with pictures of Catherine all down each side, and a funny pic of us at the bottom. All you can see of me is an eye and a tuft of red hair, but you can see half of Cathy’s face. It’s a great picture-I love it.
Anyway, on all the pictues I used my special metallic blue gel pen to do silly doodles and write silly messages, like I do usually in my exercise book, to make the entry seem more…informal. Catherine loved it, and so, to you, Cathy Cassidy, I am truly grateful for this awesome competition that gave me the chance to show Cathy how much I truly love her as my bff 🙂 ♥ xxx

Wow! I would love to buy Mizz. It sounds awesome, though sadly, I’m not a resident of England, so I can’t enter the comp though it sounds so much fun!
