HOME FROM THE LEXIE TOUR…
Saturday 10th March 2018
I’m just home from a week’s tour talking to thousands of readers old and new all around the UK… it was SO much fun, and the feedback on LEXIE has been awesome! I’m now hunkering down to do a final proof read on the next book, SAMI’S SILVER LINING, before it goes off to print… it will be out on 28th June and it’s SUCH a special book to me. I think you’ll love it!
After that, I’ll be chilling for a while before thinking about the book after that, and getting sorted for my events at HAY & EDINBURGH amongst other things! I also have a new COMP planned for you all, and I’ll be posting news about that on here VERY soon!
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all the kids, parents, librarians, teachers and booksellers who helped to make this tour such a gorgeous one… you were all AWESOME! Off to do my edits, but I’ll be back soon with news of that COMP!

I have read all of the Chocolate Box Girls (and boys) and I am literally saving up all my pocket money to get the rest of your books. I am an aspiring author, even though I am only 12, it is my dream! And… guess who my inspiration is… you!!!!! Cathy Cassidy!!!!! You and your characters are really relatable, especially Honey, and their problems are based of real- life hardships. Honey is my favourite because my father recently walked out in us- not to Australia- but to Manchester. Im just one of your fans and I love all your books: especially the chocolate box girls. I just enjoyed ‘Sweet Honey’ and ‘Marshmellow Skye’ soooo much (and the others too, of course!). I also just love the character Cherry because Im an total Otaku, and I think it’s just so smart you named her Cherry to match with Sakura. I havent read all your books yet, but Ive read every single one in our school library and Im planning to just dig in to ‘Coco Caramel’ and ‘Looking Glass Girl’ this weekend. Stay amazing!!
