HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!!!

Hope you all had a fab New Year and are looking forward to 2011… it;s going to be a busy year! To start with I’ll be writing the next book in the Chocolate Box Girls series, Vanilla Skye… exciting! After that, there’s a fourth Daizy Star book to write, a tour in May and then in June the publication of Strike A Pose Daizy Star and also the paperback version of Cherry Crush.
Also in June, Puffin are planning a seriously AWESOME redesign of all of my paperback covers… I can’t wait to see what you think! We’ll be launching the 2011 MBFR Comp in June, too… and no, it’s not too soon to get thinking about your entry!
In September, Vanilla Skye will be out… and I’ll be touring again, so keep an eye on the EVENTS page closer to the time to see where I’ll be. We have a very special comp launching around then, too – TOP SECRET for now, but trust me, you’re going to love it!
On a personal note, I’m planning a very cool holiday and lots of get togethers with friends… what are your hopes and wishes for 2011? Share you resolutions, dreams, plans and more below. And whatever you do, have an amazing year!

hi i love cathy cassidy books they are great and when you start reading them you cant stop. I dont really have a favourite one i just like all of them ! and cant wait until ‘Vanilla skye’ comes out ! and i think i will love it because my name is skye and i love the way cathy cassidy has added the e on to the end of sky = skye! because thats the way my names is spelt and other peole always write sky on my birthday cards and i am like ‘my name is spelt skye and not sky !!!!! its really bugging !

Hi! I love the new book Cherry Crush, and I can’t wait till Vanilla Skye comes out! Since I love chocolate, The Chocolate Box Girls were easily my 2nd favourite CC book! My first is Ginger Snaps, ’cause I’ve got red hair like Ginger. Could you do a sequel to Ginger Snaps? It would be great! Anyway, can’t wait for Vanilla Skye! xxx

Hi Cathy! I have read literally all your books apart from the 2nd Daizy Star book as i found the first one a little young for me as it IS aimed at younger children. But I love you AND all your amazing books! I think Cherry Crush is one of your best books yet + I can’t wait for the rest of the Chocolate Box Girls series to come out – I am particularly looking forward to Honey’s story…Kepp Writing Cathy! xx And keep inspiring ME =) Charlotte aged 13 xxxxxxxxxx
