My 7th book, GingerSnaps, is in the shops NOW… and judging from the feedback so far, you’re liking it LOTS!!! If you haven’t read the book yet, check out your local bookshop and get yourself a copy… and let me know what you think!

I got GingerSnaps on the 21st of June!I have read the whole thing and I LOVE IT! IT WAS SOOO FAB! I would read it a million times… again and again and again!

This book was brilliant! I loved Sam, Ginger’s boyfriend – and my best friends are like Emily and Shannon sometimes. It is the first CC book I’ve read and I couldn’t put it down! It really related to me!

I just started reading your books i first read Scarlet it was reeeeeeeeeeally good! i bought Ginger Snaps yesterday i missed u on Monday coz i was at school:( BUt i got a singed copy that you left! I really like Jacquline Wilson Books and yours are very simallar.I am like Ginger i got bullied when i was younger because i was fat hadginger hair and spots i was actually bullied by one of my so called friends but i lost the puppy fat and i cover my spots with foundation i still get called ginger but you learn to cope with it i just say stuff like i can dye my hair but u cant sort ur ugly face ! i know its vnot very nice but it works. For a while i wanted my hair dyed but now i like it. I am induvidual im me ! luv Rachel xx
I think that the new book is fantastic, i read ot in 2 hours! I recently bought Sundae Girl, Driftwood and Gingersnaps at a 3 for the price of 2 sale. I love them all!

I have met a few total Shannons, and one of my best friends is a bit of an Emily! I would like to say i’m an Emily or a Ginger but i think i am a half Shannon and half Emily! 🙂
I reckon my fave book is Sundae Girl, Then Ginger Snaps, Then Lucky Star, Then Scarlett, Then Driftwood, Then
Indigo blue and then Dizzy.
I love them all so much and will continue to i’m sure.

WOW!gingersnaps is one of the best books ever and ive realised that to have fun you just have to be yourself through that book!cant wait for your next one!!!
Gingersnaps is an AMAZING book, I read it in an hour. I am so bowled over by the shear Teenage understanding in that book. I used to be bullied because of my looks, and you were honestly, although I don’t know you, a light in the darkness, your books kept me going and I had something to turn to. I never thought I could love someone’s books as much as I love yours, but, guess what, I CAN! Cathy you are literally amazing, and your books are evn BETTER! I am a budding author myself, and I hope one day I can be as great as you. Thank you for all the inspiration and ideas and it feels like someone is there talking to you and understands you. Thank you for sharing it all with you.

I read Gingersnaps and now I have changed my mind Lucky Star isn’t my favourite book Gingersnaps is!!!! Sam is just amazing and just the right guy for Ginger because they are both different. Oh, I love all the band names Sam always makes up liek Broken Bones, Blue Lemonade etc. I used to be bullied but then I learned to stand up for myself like Ginger. I wish I could find a true friend like Emily she is so honest and just so friendly. At first I thought Shannon was nice but when I really found out about her I knew she wasn’t the right girl for someone like Ginger. Your book really shows the true meaning of life and tells people that you have to be careful who your friends are because they might not be your true friends at all. I was definitely trapped in the book and once I actually thought I was in the whole story because I visualised the story in my head. I wish I met you at Glasgow but I was in Lanzarote. And Cathy congratulations for writing such an amazing book that’s the best so far. I really hope you write a sequel to Gingersnaps that would be amazing because I really want to find out what happens to Shannon.
