My 7th book, GingerSnaps, is in the shops NOW… and judging from the feedback so far, you’re liking it LOTS!!! If you haven’t read the book yet, check out your local bookshop and get yourself a copy… and let me know what you think!

I got GingerSnaps on the 21st of June!I have read the whole thing and I LOVE IT! IT WAS SOOO FAB! I would read it a million times… again and again and again!

This book was brilliant! I loved Sam, Ginger’s boyfriend – and my best friends are like Emily and Shannon sometimes. It is the first CC book I’ve read and I couldn’t put it down! It really related to me!

I went to your book signing in Borders bookshop, Glasgow, and bought a copy of Gingersnaps then I read all of it that same day and loved it! You know what else? When I said to you my favourite book of yours was Lucky Star you said ‘Once you’ve read Gingersnaps you’ll change your mind’. Well, it did!
i’ve already read the book and i loved it! the story is really cool and i recognised some things in it! 🙂
I went to Glasgow Fort one Saturday and was passing by borders when I saw a big sign. It read Cathy Cassidy, at first I thought it was a special book sale so I dragged my mum inside and went looking then when I saw a big long line with children standing with Cathy Cassidy’s new book Gingersnaps… I realised. I grabbed a book and got in line. The line was long and I got bored so I started reading Gingersnaps. When I read the first two words… Ginger Brown, I knew it would be a great book. I continued reading the book till I was next in line then I stopped and started thinking about what I was going to say when suddenly my sister nudged me and pushed me forward. Sitting in front of me was… Cathy Cassidy. It was so cool. She signed my book and asked if I had read any of her books. I had so she asked me what was my favourite. I said ‘Lucky Star’ and she told me that Driftwood had always been one of her favourites. It was one of the best days of my life!
I read the book 3 times in 1 week!Its FANTABULISTIC!!!!Another brill book!I really have related to some of the stuff in it,so thanks!:)XxXxXxX
I absolotly loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I got it yesterday and have alredy read twice but now all i got 2 do is wait on the next 1 !! i thot it was another ggrreeaatt book !
Hey! I CANT WAIT to read Gingersnaps! I’ve read all of your books, except the Love, Peace & Chocolate and Ice cream and Dreams book. I just wanna say ur my fave author or all time, and i absolutely LUV your books,as soon as I pick one up,I get glued to it, I could read them again and again, and I couldn’t get sick of them! Driftwood and Lucky Star are my absolute fave books out of all of them! Can’t wait to get a hold of Gingersnaps. I really wish I could meet you, but I live in Australia =( Oh well, PLEASE Keep writing!
