DOES YOUR BEST FRIEND ROCK?

When I was on tour at the beginning of February, I was lucky enough to be able to call in to see one of the fab & feisty winners of MBFR 2008, Laura… it was brilliant to finally catch up, as Laura was such an inspiring winner yet was ill at the time of the 2008 finals, so only her nominated friend Kelly was able to make it along to the Ultimate Friendship Festival….
Meeting Laura at last was brilliant, and I knew right away she was a VERY deserving winner! Cool, kind, courageous and caring… those were the qualities that made Laura stand out, even while fighting a very serious illness, and which made her such a fantastic winner in 2008. I loved meeting Laura and her fab family (and her collection of crazy pets!) and I can definitely say for sure that Laura Taylor ROCKS!!!!

I think it takes a while to find a perfect best friend. I’m in year 8 and I’ve got quite a few different best friends. They are caring, funny and loyal and are always there when you need them and I love them for that. I know some girls might think boys are gross or whatever, but I’ve realized they can be just as good friends as girls. I would also like to say a big thankyou to Cathy for publishing so many fab books. Keep em’ coming! xlolx

My best friend rox! we havent had a fight and we have bee besties ever since the biggening of school im in yr 5 now i first read cathys bookin yr 4 but i didnt want to it was jsut i had to im not a big reader then i fell inlove with the book so i bought a new one and read it in 2 daiis! My best friend is called lucy and she has read near enough all your books exept your new one which she has got from the school libary we are best friends and always will eb we are now in years 7 which means we are 12 going on to 13 and we have been best mates since nursary age 3
ma best pal is called Erin. I have known her since she was born.She rox so much and is so understanding and kind we have never fell out and never ever will .
