AUTUMN’S AWESOME!

I’ve had a brilliant September, touring around to launch my new book CHERRY CRUSH and meeting readers as far afield as Dublin, Plymouth, Brighton, Norfolk, Boston, Bluewater, Bromley, Coventry, Liverpool, Stockport, Scotland… and just about everywhere in between! Now I’m home, and finishing edits on the third Daizy Star book ‘Strike A Pose, Daizy Star’. It’s going to be fab!
After that, I’ll start work on Vanilla Skye, the next book in the Chocolate Box Girls series… I cannot wait!
In the Summer, we ran a comp for the best three photos of readers reading their fave CC book… and the winners are EMMA HARDY, age 10; MALLE POOLA, age 16; and GEORGIA RICHES, age 13. You can see their photos below… Malle is reading Gingersnaps (in Estonian translation) beside a lake in Estonia, Emma is reading her book at The Beatrix Potter Centre in the Lake District, and Georgia is chilling out with Driftwood in an apple tree. Pretty cool! You can also see all three winning photos in the next copy of my free online NEWSLETTER… and some of the other entries will be on YOUR PHOTOS in the YOU section soon!

Hey Cathy- I really think you should come to Norwich for one of you book signings, it would rock, im one of your biggest fans- my mum likes your books driftwood and Sundae Girl we read them together. And one more thing- i wrote a story for your chocolate comp then realised we were only allowed 1000 words, but mines already alot longer than that and i havent finished it, i really would like it to send it too you because I’m considering being a writer whem im older if i cant be a doctor. So is there some way i can send it too you without entering your competition?

All of your books are just amazing! I’m gutted I haven’t read Cherry Crush yet though, I’ve not finished begging my mum to let me have it before Christmas, I can’t wait that long!! I think you are such an amazing author and ispiration! I hopefully will have my full collection soon (fingers crossed) and one day have them all signed, PLEASE come to Manchester again it would be a dream come true. I know I only missed you a few months back, I couldn’t make it. Ruth :)xx

Autumn has been super fun for me, have been playing out lots and are having a sleepover this saturday, as a sorta halloween treat, lookin forward to trick and treating, and i love cherry crush to pieces!!! go cathy, go cathy, go cathy!!!
you are the best! i absolutely love your books. not one of them have been a disappointment. i haven’t got your latest book cherry crush(yes I know, im a bit late)because im having trouble getting my Parents to buy it for me. They think I read too much!
