AUTUMN’S AWESOME!

I’ve had a brilliant September, touring around to launch my new book CHERRY CRUSH and meeting readers as far afield as Dublin, Plymouth, Brighton, Norfolk, Boston, Bluewater, Bromley, Coventry, Liverpool, Stockport, Scotland… and just about everywhere in between! Now I’m home, and finishing edits on the third Daizy Star book ‘Strike A Pose, Daizy Star’. It’s going to be fab!

After that, I’ll start work on Vanilla Skye, the next book in the Chocolate Box Girls series… I cannot wait!

In the Summer, we ran a comp for the best three photos of readers reading their fave CC book… and the winners are EMMA HARDY, age 10; MALLE POOLA, age 16; and GEORGIA RICHES, age 13. You can see their photos below… Malle is reading Gingersnaps (in Estonian translation) beside a lake in Estonia, Emma is reading her book at The Beatrix Potter Centre in the Lake District, and Georgia is chilling out with Driftwood in an apple tree. Pretty cool! You can also see all three winning photos in the next copy of my free online NEWSLETTER… and some of the other entries will be on YOUR PHOTOS in the YOU section soon!

Some of you will have noticed the new SECRET SUPERFAN PAGE link on the website homepage… and those of you who subscribe to the free online NEWSLETTER should already have a clue to the secret password! If you haven’t checked out the SECRET SUPERFAN PAGE yet, or don’t know the password, sign up for the free online NEWSLETTER… the next issue will give you the clue you need to work out the secret password!

So… what’s on the SECRET SUPERFAN PAGE? Get your paws on that password and take a look! You will find a special challenge for my superfan-readers every month, and find out who my superfan(s) of the month are… plus lots more! Don’t miss out… but remember, it’s for superfans only!

I’m really looking forward to getting back to writing and editing, and cosying up with a hot chocolate and a log fire burning. Don’t forget to tell me how you’re going to make YOUR Autumn awesome!

  7. heyy guys autumn sucks. in my experience its cold. and only cold. summers gone and winters on its way…yyeuch. but then its not so bad, i mean i just had my 14th birthday on the 21st of november so its not all bad. i guess if we had a few more autumns like the ones in those FAB books you right, you know, all breezy sunshine, golden leaves, wearing navy duffle coats and chunky crem-coloured scarves and fingerless gloves…sorry off i go. anyway, i vote all autumns to be like that. i mean what happened to 2010 autumn? for me it seemed like summer one day, a week of autumn…then snow!! insane, but true. but it didnt even stick around so no-one appretiated it and its kind of annoying becouase now its all cold and miserable when we could either hav a georgeous auntumn…or snow! i mean it snowed for a couple of days now its just bitter cold; i doubt wer even gonna hav a white christmas which is a bit of a bummer but then its ok i guess. hey, wouldnt u luv to hav chritmas in australia? on the beach, a fab bbq…wen bak here we r wrinkly pale SERIOUSLY SUFFERING (some of us!) and wondering why we cant hibernate or migrate like swallows or just be warm all yr round, or get on and snow! i mean it cant be that hard, u just splat the raindrops and freeze then, like an icelolly. u know the first ice lolly was invented by some guy who sold lemonade and one night he left a glass of it out on the windowsill one very cold night with a spoon in and the next morning… voila! the icelolly was born. ohno, im babbling. oh well. i think u shud make a book about ice lollies, or lemonade…or both. i mean you’ve written about chocolate and saxaphones and cupcakes, but not ice lollies. i guess u did kiiiind ooof write about lemonade…..only it was blue 😛 anyway got to go luv all u guys byee!! xxx ps sorry if this takes up loads of room! x
