ALL I WANT FOR XMAS…
Sunday 30th November 2008
Only a few weeks left until Xmas… woo! Have you got your Xmas lists written? Don’t forget to add in any CC books you don’t yet have – and if you don’t have a copy already, check out the Cathy Cassidy Dreams & Doodles Daybook!
It’s not a story, like my other books, but a cross between a diary and a writer’s notebook/doodle book. It’s the perfect way to get creative – scribble down ideas for stories/poems/song lyrics, sketch out a cool new character or turn your crush into a cute manga-pic!
There are even a couple of pages taken from my own writer’s notebook to show you how I jot down story ideas and build up cool characters! And then there’s the diary bit, so you can practice your writing by doing a little bit every day… You can even fill out all your secret hopes ‘n’ dreams… and work out how you’re going to make them come true! What are you waiting for? The Cathy Cassidy Dreams & Doodles Daybook is available in all good bookshops now, in UK and Ireland. Got to put it on that Xmas list!!!!
How about my Xmas list? I’m wishing for a white Xmas, and a New Year full of daydreaming time and cool new books…
What’s on your list, and why? Send your comments through the link below and I’ll post the best online!
well, i really want a snow day. i mean a REAL one..with snow 7 inches off the ground and then we could go sledding! also, i really wouldn’t mind it if my crush/s would acknowlage me as more than just a friend…oh yeah! Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Kwanzza! Happy any-other-holiday-that-i-missed!!! <<<<33333
love,
Nikki
X-mas is my FAVE holiday. Even though on your birthdays you get heaps of attention and prezzies and sleepovers, you might not be able to see your family a lot. And at Christmas, you can spend time with them and show how much you love them by giving them something special, even if it’s just a hug! Thanks for the down-fill on the ‘Dreams and Doodles Daybook’ – it’s definitely on my X-mas list!
hi Cathy the only thing i would like for christmas is to be with all my friends and family. i wish i could take them somewhere special.
Only if we could have a white xmas……
All we can do is wish! In south west Scotland we had a absolutely horrible summer as it was bad weather almost everyday ( I was only at the beach once!) So I hope all that bad weather has paid off and please Mr weather man MAKE IT SNOW!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
what are everyone’s christmas traditions?
I love Xmas because you always get presents and everyone shares things out and before Xmas you get to eat chocolate out of Advent Calendars (how I love Advent Calendars!). So, all I want for Xmas is……The Dreams & Doodles Daybook! I told my mum I wanted it for Xmas and I’m putting it down on my present list. By the way, I’d like to ask you a question, Cathy: What’s the best Xmas present you’ve ever had? Please answer my question but you don’t have to if you don’t want to! Katherine XxX
Hi Anna! My Xmas tradition is that about a week before Christmas we put the tree up in the living room and decorate it a couple of days later with tinsel and lights but we wait until Xmas to turn on the lights. Then on Xmas Eve me and my brother hang our Xmas stockings at the end of our beds and in the morning we go into Mum and Dad’s room and open our presents! Later in the day we dance around and play Xmas songs like Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and then we eat Xmas dinner and open Xmas cards. So, Anna, that’s my Xmas tradition. What’s yours? Katherine XxX
