A WHOLE NEW YEAR…

I’m writing this on the very last day of 2009… the last day of the DECADE in fact! I hope you all have a fun and fabby New Year and make the most of every opportunity that 2010 brings you… go for it!
2009 was a good year in lost of ways for me… I got to meet my fans in Australia, Singapore & New Zealand in May, I launched the first ever National Best Friends Day in July and wrote like crazy in between times! The year had its sad, tricky and low points too, of course, but I hope that on the whole 2009 was a good year for you, too.
I have a feeling that 2010 is going to be even better. I love that moment when the year turns and a whole new year lies before you, like a field full of snow, silent and perfect, with no footprints upon it yet (I know, I know, but I am writing this surrounded by fields of snow, so it seemed like a good image!). For me, it’ll be a busy year… Angel Cake goes paperback in April; Daizy Star & The Pink Guitar comes out in June; and Cherry Crush is out in September. There will be a few little surprises along the way, too… let’s just say there will be plenty for you to read this year!

2009 went sooooo fast!!!! Last xmas seems so close its scary! Bt i had a fab new year! we dressed my brothers and their frends up as girls and had a cool fashion show!!! xoxo

I’ve had a great year, but then again it was awful as well! It was great because I made loads of new mates and it was awful because there was so many painful things that happened to me 🙁
I first got into u when I went to Asda. I was looking at all the books(there was a LOT!) and I seen my mums name, Cathy! I hope you email me back and do book-signing in NI In Glengormaly. Its my biggest wish ever! Happy new year everyone!
my fav bit of 2009 was making best ever friends with melissa who is still my bestest ever friend!
2009 went so fast….next ting you know it will be 2011. I enjoy spending my time with My BFF Joy!
So I just know this year will be fab!

i really wish there was more to scarlett then it really is its such an amazing book i really wish to like her but not in the bad girl way only the one who finds someone you like and to be in ireland that would be the best.wishing to go but have no money its hard with divorced parents.
My fave part of 2009 was meeting you and the Edinburgh Festival!That was the best day ever! I also met your friend Magi Gibson!Her books are very good as well!
Happy new year!!! In my new secondary school I have made lots of new friends, it has been fun around here. But i keep getting ill, plus to add to that I hate brushing my teeth so I only brush them once a day. I have lots new year’s resolutions and some of them are to brush my teeth more often, try to prevent getting ill and tell less lies.
Please keep in touch I adore your books and yourself, I read Shine On Daisy star in a day It was so good. Thanks for writing all these books, keep them going.

Heyyahh i realy like your books and i think your next book out will be fantastick i have nearly most of your books, i havent had time to read them all yet but i think tht ginger snaps is going to end realy good and i enjoyed reading lucky star that was a great

2009 was fantastic. i went to highschool,made new friends (guys and girls :P) and became a teenager. in the year i also got 4 new cathy cassidy books and found friends who also love cathy cassidy as much as i do.
