A WHOLE NEW YEAR…

I’m writing this on the very last day of 2009… the last day of the DECADE in fact! I hope you all have a fun and fabby New Year and make the most of every opportunity that 2010 brings you… go for it!
2009 was a good year in lost of ways for me… I got to meet my fans in Australia, Singapore & New Zealand in May, I launched the first ever National Best Friends Day in July and wrote like crazy in between times! The year had its sad, tricky and low points too, of course, but I hope that on the whole 2009 was a good year for you, too.
I have a feeling that 2010 is going to be even better. I love that moment when the year turns and a whole new year lies before you, like a field full of snow, silent and perfect, with no footprints upon it yet (I know, I know, but I am writing this surrounded by fields of snow, so it seemed like a good image!). For me, it’ll be a busy year… Angel Cake goes paperback in April; Daizy Star & The Pink Guitar comes out in June; and Cherry Crush is out in September. There will be a few little surprises along the way, too… let’s just say there will be plenty for you to read this year!

My worst part of 2009 would have to be when I left my Primary school behind along with most of my good friends, because after the summer holidays I had to go to High School!
The best part was also the same. I had mixed feelings on the day I left primary. I was sad to be going, but it was a really fun day, hangin’ out with my vmates for the very last time!
the best part of 2010 was when we all spent time with each other and the best best part was when i spent time with my friends and family it was the most asmome time ever…
i love reading your books they are really good and i love reading the book called cupcakes & kisses. i love reading this book it is amazing and wow! this book is one of my favouite books and i love reading the back of the book it is so cool and i love reading the evance it is really, really,reallu,really,really good. thank you cathy cassidy for becaming a writter because you have really changed lots of people and they have turned into really good people. so thank you for being there for people and thanks for this really good book.I LOVE IT!
The best part about 2009 was my school’s play! I got to sing and it was so fun to work with everyone. The worst part about 2009 was probably when I found out a friend’s parent passing. 🙁 But I know that 2010 will be an outstanding year!
the best part of 2009 was new years day which was 2010 so i guess 2009 was kinda rubbish. hope 2010 is better and that i stick to my new years resolution to eat less crap and rubbish(doubt it)…….!!!x
i had a pretty good year, and 2010 is starting off great! my 14th birthday was yesterday, i’ve had 4 days off school because of snow!! hoping that everyone will have a fantastic year!!!
My best part of 2009 was christmas, it was the best christmas ever because I got all i wanted! The worst part of 2009 was on one day. ON that day i was playing with my freinds and one of my other friends tripped me over and then talked about it behind my back. My news years resolution is to get good grades in year 7 and get better at swimming. I celebrated new yr by watching the fireworks on the tv ( boring i know) But i was with family and that was all that mattered.
The worst parts of 2009 was my pop’s death and trouble at school. The best parts though were having movie nights with my BFF Bec, Christmas and family holidays! Luv to all my family and friends
I think the best time in 2009 was when I won a book from Cathy Cassidy!! It was so exciting!! I also loved hanging out with my friends and family and reading Cathy Cassidy books…
I had the best start to 2010,and a great end to 2009! The start of 2010 was like a dream come true, as my family rescued an 8 week old puppy who had no home! Hope you had a great year and i wish you good luck for 2010! Happy new year!
