A WHOLE NEW YEAR…

I’m writing this on the very last day of 2009… the last day of the DECADE in fact! I hope you all have a fun and fabby New Year and make the most of every opportunity that 2010 brings you… go for it!
2009 was a good year in lost of ways for me… I got to meet my fans in Australia, Singapore & New Zealand in May, I launched the first ever National Best Friends Day in July and wrote like crazy in between times! The year had its sad, tricky and low points too, of course, but I hope that on the whole 2009 was a good year for you, too.
I have a feeling that 2010 is going to be even better. I love that moment when the year turns and a whole new year lies before you, like a field full of snow, silent and perfect, with no footprints upon it yet (I know, I know, but I am writing this surrounded by fields of snow, so it seemed like a good image!). For me, it’ll be a busy year… Angel Cake goes paperback in April; Daizy Star & The Pink Guitar comes out in June; and Cherry Crush is out in September. There will be a few little surprises along the way, too… let’s just say there will be plenty for you to read this year!

2009 wasn’t the best year for me….i had the whole fear of moving from primary to secondry school! I lost some friends but also gained some on the way :):'( im hoping tht 2010 will be much better! xx
2009 was OK but it was a really sad year cos we lost some really kwl ppl like Michael Jackson. I thnk 2010 is going to be a whole lot better! xx
2009 was ok 4 me.very sad sometimes.but the bit tat cheered me up the most was gettin a dog!!its a black and white collie called DIZZY.just like ur first book.i tink 2010 will be a better year!!!! i hope anyway!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! AND ENJOY THE NEW DECADE!!
HII! happy new year. I don’t know if i have a worst part of 2009….. My friends have made every moment of 2009 worth being the best. I have signed up to the friendship charter so i need to follow that and i’m goin to enter MBFR comp 2010……Katie i love u!!

Hi Cathy ! My best memory of 2009 will have to be Camping with my friends in the freezing cold but we all laughed ourselves to tears !
My worst memory will have to be finding out about the Death of Louis Price from my school ( Rip Louie x )
Im rubbish at keeping resolutions so this year I wont bother and just go with what I feel is right.

I think I had a great year.I did my firstdance exam I got my first kittys(YAYY!!)and I made my first comiuon so I got to see my cousins early.I hope 2010 is just as good(Or better!).
Its not the last day of the decade…the last day of the decade will be the 31/12/2010…. Just thought ya oughta know =)
I hope you’re right NickyB, as so far the New Year has been a little bit crazy!!! It’s just that we began the new millennium on 1st Jan 2000… so I figured 1st Jan 2010 would be the start of a new decade. I am VERY happy to wait till this time next year though… honest!

2009 was good in some ways for me. I got accepted into the high school I wanted to go to. That was the highlight! And I made awesome new friends – hugs to you. Hope 2010 is the best for us all. Can’t wait for Cherry Crush, Cathy! Sounds mint… xx
