I’m settling back at school fine now – in year 10 – can’t believe it, it’s gone so fast! We have to write a short story for coursework which I think I’ll actually enjoy. It would be amazing if I got an A*! Hope everyone else is having a good new school year. Julia x And wooot a new book! :D

Yay, Thank you Cathy I think the best way to cope with the rain is to get REALLY wet and run around and then come in and have a lovely warm bath, then curl up on the sofa with a book. The only thing is there is there is only so many times you can do that…

At the end i bought Scarlet and it took only a night and one morning to read it cause i was totally glued to it! I really love your books because they are really interesting and they resemble all parts of my life. For example, I’ve just started Year 7 like Indie in ‘Indigo Blue’, once had a friend who I couldn’t trust like Ginger in ‘Ginger Snaps’, and I live with my dad and am very creative like Dizzy in the book of the same name. Because of your books, I have managed to sort out my problems and say to myself, “Lucy, you’re not alone. I love reading all your books Cathy.They give me an idea of the outside world and thanks to Gingersnaps and books alike I managed to say no to these girls that were using me and I’ve got threee best friends now, Georgina, Lauren and Taslimah.
