‘Don’t get me wrong, I love my family β but mum is forty-four going on fourteen . . .’
Jude’s family are crazy, quirky, bizarre . . . her mum brings her plenty of problems and her dad thinks he’s Elvis! All she wants is a hassle-free life – but it’s not easy when she’s chasing her mum’s trail of broken promises.
Nothing seems to go Jude’s way, until she realizes the floppy-haired boy from school could be her knight on shining rollerblades. And that sometimes, when everything turns sour, only something sweet can make it ok . . .
very nice book
This is like my favourite book its so sad yet so true i actually cried im such a cry baby cathy casidy is now my new favourite authour!!!.
This story made it straight to my heart. One of Cathy’s most emotional books I think. I absolutely love this book!
This is such an amazing book. Jude’s mum and dad are split up, so she rarely sees her dad. This is a shame, as her mum isn’t the best parent, and her dad is a better one. I really felt for Jude in this story, because her mum kept telling her promises that she just wasn’t keeping. Jude kept thinking it was her fault that her mum was drinking herself to death, which was real heartbreak for readers. A really emotional story that definitely pulls heartstrings.
It is such a good book. I am a fussy reader I only read books that catch me. And your books is the catchy one
My mum gave me this book when I was bored-now I am so not bored any more!
