‘I feel like I’m losing my best mate . . .’
Hannah and Joey have been best friends forever – just the two of them. But when Joey’s new foster brother, Paul, turns up, everything changes. First Joey falls for Hannah’s brother, Kit. Then Paul complicates things – with some kittens, a chocolate bar and a stripy pink bicycle.
Hannah’s world is turning upside down. Can you rescue a friendship when it’s drowning? Can you save a friend in trouble – if they don’t want to be saved?
I love it!!!! It was one of the best books I’ve ever read. And yo be honest I’m a big book worm I’ve read hundreds of books but this is one of the best ever. Although the bullying really got me worried for Paul. I would really recommend it to any one. I love Cathy Cassidy she’s my FAVOURITE author.
I read this book in 4 days and it moved me soooooooo much. I love the way Hannah cares about everyone simultaneously and looking out for Paul. Keep writing Cathy Cassidy!!!!๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
The book is Fantastic, it is really beautiful, I really liked it, it is VERY touching story, it contains a lot of feelings it’s AMAZING.
driftwood is a touching tale as when people say someones being bullied more often than not you would think of a girl when realistically boys get bullied to . All he was doing was being himself im so glad that after all this he manged to stay with the foster family he wanted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved this so much because I could totally relate to some of it!! Thanks so much Cathy!! โบ๏ธ๐๐
I never got to read it.I canโt find it in a library or online for free.Does anyone know where I can download it for free. Please.
Just ask your local librarian to order it in for you – sorted! Free download sites are ‘pirate’ sites and put authors out of business, whereas libraries support authors… if you love books, it has to be libraries all the way!
I loved this story, I just wish it hadn’t ended so abruptly. I want to know more about Paul’s past and him and hannahs relationship.
Her books arenโt usually my style, which is weird cuz Iโm kinda in the age group for them. But I did kinda enjoy this one, if only for Paulโs character. I projected onto him a lot, and saw myself in him throughout. I know heโs not gay but as a young lesbian figuring out her sexuality step by step I did appreciate the nod to it in the story, even if it was immediately deflected cuz all these teen stories needs the hot mysterious new boy to be in love with the protagonist who youโre suppose to be projecting on instead. Ah well, I get it anyways. These books arenโt made for me, theyโre made for straight girls with normal girl problems. Sorry to get negative, I still like this book.
10/10.
This is one of my favourite books ever, when I read it I couldn’t put it down!
