‘I feel like I’m losing my best mate . . .’
Hannah and Joey have been best friends forever – just the two of them. But when Joey’s new foster brother, Paul, turns up, everything changes. First Joey falls for Hannah’s brother, Kit. Then Paul complicates things – with some kittens, a chocolate bar and a stripy pink bicycle.
Hannah’s world is turning upside down. Can you rescue a friendship when it’s drowning? Can you save a friend in trouble – if they don’t want to be saved?

Hi cathy, I bought driftwood about a week ago at your writing workshop in moffat and im nearly finished it. So far its REALLY good but Hannah should tell Miss Quinn about Paul being bullied because it is something U just cant leave and when Hannah and Joey found the kittens in the school bins it was dreadful but they’re both taking good care of them
I am completely speech less about this book! i just love this book even more i love the romance between Kit and Joey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Cathy U might remember me when i had a chance 2 meet U at moffat. I bought driftwood when i was there and am nearly finished it. So far i think its a REALLY good book and am enjoying it immensely. Although i do think Hannah should speak up for Paul- bullying is something U just cant leave although i see Paul’s point about going back to Glasgow. U ROCK CATHY!!! Courtney x
