Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?
Summers dream is my favourite book out of them all. So sad yet you can’t stop yourself from reading on! I finished this book in under two days!
Summers Dream is the most important book in the series because it shows how much pressure things can take and shows you that you must tread carefully and not overdo things.
this book is one of my favourites and is very annoying when it finishes because you just want to read more. Think I’ve got can’t put books down problem.
So hard for Summer. Honey def did the right thing.
Love this book xx
I love this book
One chapter:
My feet are stuffed in worn leather boots
Animal skin!
How mean!
Another:
I am feeding my food to Fred the dog
This can shorten their life
I love this story. I remember reading it for the first time in year 5/6 and it really helped me, I had a chance to escape into an amazing world. Love your books, and please continue the Chocolate Box Girls series (I know it was supposed to end at Fortune Cookie) but when they are older because now that I’m older I’d absolutely love to read a book where the characters have grown up. Thanks for your amazing stories xxx
Now I know NOT to starve myself.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
