I first started reading the book Scarlett when I was nine, and ever since I have read it over and over again. It really opened my eyes and inspired me to write books myself. There were many chapters that made me cry, especially chapter 29 and 30. My parents went through a divorce when I was only three and I understand Scarlett more than I can say. Every single word and sentence of Scarlett made me think beyond. Cathy Cassidy is my favourite author and I would kill to meet her. Reading the book made me realize so much, that I wouldn’t be the same person I am today if I hadn’t read it. I am so grateful for Cathy Cassidy and I think she is the most amazing author. She has helped me through life immensely, even getting up in the morning. I think of everything differently because of Cathy. When I read her books time stands still. I can’t explain how I feel about Scarlett. When I’m older I’m going to be an author, so look for my name on the first book I’ll write; The Ten Stepping Stones. And it’s all thanks to Cathy Cassidy for inspiring me. All I can really say is, Thank You!!!

WOW! I loved this book soooo muchits not even funny! I read it in 2 days after reading indigo blue.
I read scarlet i an hour and a half and I think its the best book and Cathy Cassidy I the best auther in the world and I even cried anear the end when Kain left
im now reading scarlet by cathy and its sooo cool! i also like jaqueline wilson aswell! cathys books r great!

Even though i have not finished it yet i am on page 82/221 it is great! i have borrowed it from my school library…when you are reading it you just cant put it down!Scarlet is one of the best books i have ever read!!!

I love this book beacause it was very much like my life when i was young red hair, rebel, hated school, broken home, but now things are better and scarlet also helped me explain to all my friends how life you used to be. I loved the book and couldn’t put it down please write more about scarlets life one day!
