Reviews of Scarlett

  1. I loved this book! It has a bit of everything, humor, romance and even sadness! I read Scarlett really fast because I could’nt put it down. I was addicted to it. When I had finished reading it I wanted to read it again and again. So thats what I did. I think almost every girl would enjoy Scarlett. I tested it on my friends and they ALL said it was their new favourite book.

  3. Scarlett is a fantastic book about a girl who’s Mum and Dad splits up. Scarlett moves around a lot and is branded as a trouble-maker. As her last chance crashes, her mum is left wit no other option. She will have to go to Ireland to stay with her dad…

  4. About a week ago I went to my school libary to get a book.
I was looking in the kids section and then I saw a book by my favourite author Cathy Cassidy. It was the book Scarlett. I read the blurb and it sounded really interesting. So I borrwed that book from the libary. I started reading it as soon as I got home from school. When I finished it I new that it was the best book Cathy Cassidy ever written.

  5. hi im laura and im reviewing the book scarlett because it`s such a fab book. The best thing i love about scarlett is were it is set, it`s set in ireland. The mane character in the book is scarlett, of course! she is cool and funky, and has got a really good attitude. In the book she has been to loads of schools and each and every one of them she has been excluded from. Her mum has has enough and sends her to go and live with her dad who she has`nt seen for ages. She refuses to go, but loses the battle with her mum and has to go. When she gets there her dad has aleady set up a new family; with a little girl his with and the tiny one on the way.Though out the book she meets a `not so familiar` boy who has a horse called midnight. This only the base lines of the story the story is so so so so much better!! This is my review and i hope you enjoyed it.

  6. I love Scarlett. It made me cry so much. When she phoned her mum, her mum was so mean.I really felt sorry for her, because no one really loved her.I think Cathy Cassidy’s books are really good because she writes about issue’s people have expierienced and the books are real life.I’ve got Scarlett on my ipod and listen to it again and again.I’ve probably read it a million times. This book is brilliant because its fuunny and you can relate to it!

  7. I thought this book was an excellent book because one of my close friends went through a hard time when her parents split up. Her grandma brought us this book for christmas and we read it together. It was very well discripted and you felt like you were there next to the lake with her.The mysic and mysteriousness of the rider really added something to this book.I would give this book an 8/10 because it kept you hanging on the end of a cliff by one finger nail.I think that when you start to read this book you read the fabulously informative introduction, followed by a just as good middle. You read on late into the night because you are dead curious to find out how it ends.THis was a totally smashing book and i recomend it to every girl in the world.

  10. my fave book is scarlett because it reminds me of someone in my class also the book is realy exiting because you feel you have to read on. my fave character was scarlett because she has her own personality style and shes not botherd about getting in to trouble.my fave part of the book is when she has to move to her dads because she starts to behave more exitingly and she also behaves worse than she did at home with her mum .when she gets to her dads is also great because she tries to skip school her friend tried to get her on the bus but scarlett tells lies and gets out of school by missing the bus.
