  6. Scarlet is my favourite Cathy Cassidy book so far. I love Scarlett’s determined nature and I’m glad she begins to like her stepmother Clare and helps her when she goes into labor when dad isn’t there.

  7. I’ve read a lot of books, including Les Miserables and The Great Gatsby, and while both are fantastic books, this one might be better. I might be a little old for this book, but I would say that it’s something everyone can relate to and fall in love with. Also, it’s a nice break for people my age to read something aimed at a younger age group as it allows our minds a break and lets us wander and dream.

  8. I read this book in 5th grade, and it was my favorite book IN THE WORLD. And now, after I have just read it again, I remembered why I loved it so much! It’s amazing, perfectly relatable to any preteen girl who is going through a tough time in her life. It’s absolutely perfect, and this is coming from the pickiest reader around. πŸ™‚

  9. I love Scarlett because she is such a rebel and I am fascinated by the way she thinks and acts! Also, when I was reading this book, I had to go to see my dad who loves far away and it made me feel as if i wasn’t alone. However, I didn’t get to meet a fabulous boy on a wonderful horse who kisses me and smells like wild mint! Still, I can still dream I suppose!
