Scarlett is a touching book because you can really see why she likes to rebel so much as she has been troubled due to her family problems. Adding a love interest made the story much more quirkier and such a mysteriouse boy to! I loved hearing about a small village in Ireland as its one of those places you dont hear about much. Its also very touching how the stepmother tries her best to understand Scarlett and it shows not all stepmothers are bad! Scarlett`s personlaity is very unique as you dont see many authors writing about rebelling teens and even though she was a rude character in the start I just felt like understanding her and actually wanting to realise what made her the person she is. So overall a story that makes readers want to go deep into a character`s life and an entertaining read. xx
This is a great book. It really does show how hard it is to get settled into a new place and home.
