Lucky Star

Has Mouse met his match in new girl Cat?

‘Cat and Mouse,’ she says, grinning. ‘That’s cool!’

Mouse is doing his best to stay out of trouble. Cat is doing her best to land herself in it.

They’ve both had it pretty tough, so when they meet by chance, they thank their lucky stars. Weird and wonderful things happen when they’re together – but how long can it last? Because everyone has their secrets – and there can only be one winner in a game of cat and mouse. Can’t there?

  3. Cathy Cassidy this book was brilliant it shows how some people live and was really clever how to people from opposite worlds had so much chemistry also I couldn’t beleive that in the end Cat was 12.! I read this when I went on holiday to Ireland and it only took me 4 days to read it. I would highly recomend anyone to read this.

  5. I started this book at about 2 in the afternoon. I had finished it by 9. Its not my fault it was so good!

Lucky Star is my favourite Cathy book. I have read all her books up to Ginger Snaps. Everyone of her books has been finished in less than a day and left me feeling like i was standing on a really high mountain, smiling. Though, there was also a tinge of sadness at the fact that the book had ended.

Mouse is a really interesting character who appears first in Dizzy. I like the fact that he is my age and i can relate to him too. I’ve never met anyone like him and he is very alternative. He’s not exactly perfect but he’s trying to be good.

    But then he meets Cat.

In the weirdest of circumstances. She knocks over Mouse’s dog. With her bike!

Cat and Mouse kinda get talking and they see eachother some more. Cat is a bit posh, an opposite to Mouse but somehow they become really close and she gets him into a bit of mischeif!

I love the fact that it is set in a inner-city estate which is a rather different setting to where i live.

This book is really modern and i love the references to music that was in at the time like “Fall Out Boy”.

Cathy Cassidy is one awesome writer! Keep it coming Cathy! I just wish you could write as fast as i read your books!
