Lucky Star

Has Mouse met his match in new girl Cat?

‘Cat and Mouse,’ she says, grinning. ‘That’s cool!’

Mouse is doing his best to stay out of trouble. Cat is doing her best to land herself in it.

They’ve both had it pretty tough, so when they meet by chance, they thank their lucky stars. Weird and wonderful things happen when they’re together – but how long can it last? Because everyone has their secrets – and there can only be one winner in a game of cat and mouse. Can’t there?

  8. I love this book! I liked it so much, I now write my user name on websites as LuckyStar! This book really helped me understand more why vandalism ruins everything, including us. By reading it, it’s like I could really get into the mind of Mouse or Cat, and see the problems they are facing. I found this book in the local library in town, and I wanted to keep it instead of taking it back to the library when it was due. When I started reading Lucky Star, I couldn’t put it down and I ended up lying on my bed for about 2 hours, just reading it!

I also wrote a poem in the “You” section of this site. I based it on Lucky Star, saying why there’s no need to vandalise and be violent. If you want to read it , just look in the poems in YOU, and look for Lucky Star as the title. Hope you like it!
