Lucky Star

Has Mouse met his match in new girl Cat?

‘Cat and Mouse,’ she says, grinning. ‘That’s cool!’

Mouse is doing his best to stay out of trouble. Cat is doing her best to land herself in it.

They’ve both had it pretty tough, so when they meet by chance, they thank their lucky stars. Weird and wonderful things happen when they’re together – but how long can it last? Because everyone has their secrets – and there can only be one winner in a game of cat and mouse. Can’t there?

  4. I’ve read a few of your other books and I thought they were so amazing! A friend recommended Lucky Star, I just finished it. It was so beautiful! I love the characters Mouse and Cat. I had to cry near the end when Mouse ended all communication with Cat and again at the end when they meet again. Your books are so powerful. I felt like I was part of the story – and I’d never thought I’d be so sad about a scruffy dog. I hate dogs, but I grew to love Lucky as the story went on. I love the way you write – it’s very effective. Please keep writing. Your books are addictive.
