Lucky Star

Has Mouse met his match in new girl Cat?

‘Cat and Mouse,’ she says, grinning. ‘That’s cool!’

Mouse is doing his best to stay out of trouble. Cat is doing her best to land herself in it.

They’ve both had it pretty tough, so when they meet by chance, they thank their lucky stars. Weird and wonderful things happen when they’re together – but how long can it last? Because everyone has their secrets – and there can only be one winner in a game of cat and mouse. Can’t there?

  2. OMG!!!!!
I love cathy Cassidy books I started to read bittersweet when I met you at phoenix
Colligate I really love your ideas. For my birthday I got a £15 voucher for wh smith and I spent all of my money on your books, Lucky Star, Cherry Crush, and marshmallow Skye. I also bought summers dream from my school book fair. U r so popular at our school that everyone dived for summers dream and nearly broke the bookcase! Some old year 6 wrote to you to come to our school. Good luck with your new books coco caramel and sweet honey. When we did the quiz all of the boys who turned out to be Alfie started to be so annoying. I will keep reading xoxoxo Paris

  3. think i’m a saddo whatever. it makes my heart twist when i think of how beautiful this book is. when dizzy and finn made an appearance i started crying i was so happy with how they turned out. i think mouse is almost as cool as Finn, him and Cat are perfect, he is so lovely and daring and good hearted, i loved how she did this sequel, it made me so happy to see how it turned out for him, and then when i read her short book in Queen of Teen, i died. i swear. I LOVE YOU.

  7. WOW! This book really surprised me! I always saw the covers of Cathy Cassidy books in my school and thought they were for little kids, cos they were so bright and colourful and kinda childish, so I never thought to read them until I found Lucky Star. I loved it, I thought the story was so different to what I had assumed and now I can’t stop reading Cathy Cassidy! I started the Chocolate Box Girls series but unfortunately there’s only Marshmallow Skye and Cherry Crush in my school library 🙁 Still, keep writing Cathy! You’re AMAZING!
