Lucky Star

Has Mouse met his match in new girl Cat?

‘Cat and Mouse,’ she says, grinning. ‘That’s cool!’

Mouse is doing his best to stay out of trouble. Cat is doing her best to land herself in it.

They’ve both had it pretty tough, so when they meet by chance, they thank their lucky stars. Weird and wonderful things happen when they’re together – but how long can it last? Because everyone has their secrets – and there can only be one winner in a game of cat and mouse. Can’t there?

  3. Mouse reminded me of myself.
    Always keeping my darkest secrets
away until one day I met a true friend and she wasn’t afraid of anything.
So, since then we have been best friends and tell each other everything.

  7. I absolutely loved Lucky Star! It was so cool with the contrast of a rich girl and a boy with barely anything. I loved how they both had pretty messed up lives and needed each other, badly. It was also cool how it was the ‘Cat and Mouse’ game thingybob and Cat wasn’t the typical blonde, blue eyed pretty girl. I loved it when Cat said that in the people you love will always be there in the stars. This book was thrilling and I couldn’t stop reading!
