Cat and Mouse – the names are so wellthought of:humor, relation to the story, ect.
Now…I never seem to be able to get into the story in the books, I’ve always preferred watching my TV! But this book… it’s like a transformation, a whole new meaning for a book! I just can’t put it down! Every night I get into Pyjama’s, settle under my duvet arms laidover the top with the book in my hands… and i’m in!
I have never felt like a story was real life but this one: mouse is real, i mean REALLY REAL!He isn’t a cartoon, he’s a real human, “a real boy!” The same for Cat she’s a REAL girl… everyone in the book; all of them are humans, they talk, i imagine them the way they’re described…they’re a movie playing in my head!

I also LOVE this book because of the romance between the two young lovers…they’re perfect for each other, both different- one fills half of the puzzle in life and the other one fits in the rest of lifes puzzles.
Romance is my thing in a book or a film!
I can’t say enough about this book!!!! Secrets, the bad things done, stars, the phoinex, Mouse’s couragious art and all things he say are cool! Then Cat, posh but daring, seems clean but some cobwebs lay beneath her skin and over her heart! JUST TOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!
This book i shall remember for the rest of my life….My first Cathy Cassidy book; my first book I see in my head; the first book that i have wanted to read; just…THE FIRST!!!!!

PS I reccomend this to all 10 – 13 year olds…what do i know everyone should give it a go…even the boys should have a go!!!

an amazing book
i was really drawn to it and have never read a book quite like it.
i would recommend it to teenagers.
I just loved this book i would recomend it to anyone i read it within 2 days and then reread it 4 times!
i really would advise you to go to the libary and get it or buy it!

All ur books r amazing I love them…..want u to write more….plz…never know whats gunna happen in all of them…just need to get Ginger Snaps but it sounds like a great book from the sneak preview in Lucky Star…I love the way that this book is from a guys point of view……wicked….xxx……

it was a great book and i really like Lucky because i like dogsn a lot. it was really great and i enjoyed reading it and i lok at it quite often even though i have read all of your books now!

Lucky Star is an outstanding book from start to finsh!Once I picked up the book it was so hard to put it down.. Sadly the book came to an end but I must say it was time well spent reading it! Credit to Cathy!, Keep writing PLEASE!!! 😀 😀

i read it last year from my school library and ever since i have been wanting to read more cathy cassidy books which i have i have read angel cake, dizzy and indigo blue they were fab.
this book is so mysterious and romantic i just love it and I want to know what happens next!? Xx sarah
