Indigo Blue

Will Indigo choose her family or her friends?

‘I need a seriously brilliant daydream . . . because everything is far from OK . . .’

When Indigo’s mum announces that they’re moving – just Indie, Mum and baby Misti – Indie doesn’t understand. Why the hurry? Where are they going? Will her best friend, Jo, still be there for her?

In a dingy old flat with a grumpy neighbour, no heating and only biscuits to eat, Indie begins to realize that her mum’s got a reason for running away – a secret no one can admit . . .

  3. It was such an incredible story line that I’d never come across before, it was a massive insight into how people’s lives are so difficult. I read it two years ago and I still remember the story line and characters vividly!

  7. Indigo blue was a wonderful book.
I’ve read the book twice, and, both times, I felt the suspense building up inside of me- to know what was going to happen next.
I felt like I was in the story with Indie, one of the student passer-bys, The book was amazing.

Now I’m off to read more of your fabulous books:
    Keep up the good work!

    One of your biggest fans-

  8. It is such a good book.
Where did you get the ideas from? Is it hard being a writer. It is for me. There was this writing competition at school. They gave a little extract and we had to carry it on. We had to enter and I had no ideas. So i went to the library and read one or two books. I think it was some of yours. And got some ideas. I’m honest that i didn’t copy. I wrote and wrote and wrote and guess what, when the winers came, it took quite long but finally, I WON.
I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. THANKS SO MUCH, YOU GAVE ME A LOT OF IDEAS FOR ANOTHER WRITING COMP. YOUR THE BEST, LOVE HAPSA.
