‘I need a seriously brilliant daydream . . . because everything is far from OK . . .’
When Indigo’s mum announces that they’re moving – just Indie, Mum and baby Misti – Indie doesn’t understand. Why the hurry? Where are they going? Will her best friend, Jo, still be there for her?
In a dingy old flat with a grumpy neighbour, no heating and only biscuits to eat, Indie begins to realize that her mum’s got a reason for running away – a secret no one can admit . . .
This was the best book I read from this arthour, and it’s fun to read! Really, I just couldn’t put the book down! I LOVE it. KEEP IT UP!
Indigo Blue tells the story of 11 year old Indie who has to go and live in a boring flat with her mum and baby sister Misti. This book is so gripping and captiviting, I literally finished it in two days. It teaches everyone how fortunate they are and how to be positive.
this book is amazing. i have read it about a million times[more likely 5-8]. i think this book reflects true problems in this world. i know a family of three who as had the same experience as indigo[but this indego was younger] i will not go into detail because i don’t feel it’s my palace to.
anyway i’m sure people who have read this book will hopefully realize what people are really like [and what mothers and children have to do to escape just to lead a normal and my heart bleeds for them and i hope they find peace and sanctuary.]
this book sets an atmosphere of sadness yet it throws random things a the reader and you never know whats going to happen next[i didn’t] and it’s to perfect and amazing for words. well done cathy your amazing
I couldn’t put it down…as good as Jacqueline Wilson.I loooved this book and I hope the rest of the books are as good as this. (: <3 Keep writing!
This book was amazing, and like the front cover states “highly adictive” this book is highly adictive, I could not put it down. It was the first Cathy Cassidy book that I had read and after I finished it reading it from my schools library I decided that I HAD to get the rest of her collection.
it is really well written for any ages to understand i got really into the book and read it in about 2 days i was that ingroused it is about a girl whos family is fallin apart but then she moves away with her mum in a really small house and the dad they are running away from decides to follow them and then asks the mum whether she wants to come to dinner so she does and in the end max beats her up and does really bad damage but then he gets put in prison and the family recover and thats the end of my review
I loved your book and i found it really interesting. It was the first book i read and i am looking forward to reading some of your other books.xx
I thought that Jacqueline Wilson was brilliant, but Cathy Cassidy is the new best author EVER! Indigo Blue is fantastic because she goes through problems with Jo girls often face, and it gives the right answer so anybody in that situation can read the book and deal with it. It’s so easy to become friends with Indie because she suffers having to care for Misti and her mum, hide from Max and ignore Jo, but she makes even the most upsetting bits funny.
My review of this book is outstanding. Indigo Blue is one of those books that you get more into the more you read it. The excitement builds and builds and never stops. It’s quite a sad story at times but the characters in this book stay strong and it’s all just a bit topsy tirvy but that’s my favourite type of book so I was really satisfie with this book and it’s at quite a good price aswell so there fab and afordable.
i thought this was a fab book i just couldn’t stop reading it!!!!!!i really really really enjoyed it:)xxxxxxx
