‘I need a seriously brilliant daydream . . . because everything is far from OK . . .’
When Indigo’s mum announces that they’re moving – just Indie, Mum and baby Misti – Indie doesn’t understand. Why the hurry? Where are they going? Will her best friend, Jo, still be there for her?
In a dingy old flat with a grumpy neighbour, no heating and only biscuits to eat, Indie begins to realize that her mum’s got a reason for running away – a secret no one can admit . . .

I’ve read that book over and over again, because its such an enjoyable book. This morning, i woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep. I started reading Indigo Blue, right down until half past four (well, that’s what my dodgy clock said, anyway!) I really admire the way the words wind up together to make great phrases, like “Mum looked sad, lonely, young” and I’ve started using that myself in stories. I have all of your books, except for Driftwood. You are definitely a great author! 10/10 for all the books! Bye!
All of Cathy Cassidys books are amazing- especially this one. the plot is sooo good i couldn’t put the book down. it really appealed to me and it was the first book of Cathy’s i had ever read. I’ve read all of them now but this one is the one i can still think about like i read it yesterday. i recomend this book to everyone- i can see my grandma reading this!

Indigo blue is a really good book because it is about family and people splitting up. It givs you a really good message. It is really difficult to have your parents splitting but you will have to get over it and have a good life with out your mum or dad dont let them spoil your fun. Indigo blue is a really good book to read and it is really exciting and has a really good plot and i couldnt but the book down once i have read it. Well i finished it in about a day!!!!
