Indigo Blue

Will Indigo choose her family or her friends?

‘I need a seriously brilliant daydream . . . because everything is far from OK . . .’

When Indigo’s mum announces that they’re moving – just Indie, Mum and baby Misti – Indie doesn’t understand. Why the hurry? Where are they going? Will her best friend, Jo, still be there for her?

In a dingy old flat with a grumpy neighbour, no heating and only biscuits to eat, Indie begins to realize that her mum’s got a reason for running away – a secret no one can admit . . .

Reviews of Indigo Blue

  1. I found this book very real. That’s how i would describe it one word. It was well written which made me beleive what was going on was true. When i took my head out of the book it was like re-entering the world! I found a very good read, very deep and emotinal but very good all at the same time! I wish the family all the best in case they are real after all!

  2. I think this is one of the best, most moving books I have read for a long time. The last one that had me dragging out the tisse box was Lola Rose by Jacqueline Wilson.

This id deffinatly a heart wrenching, happy and colorful novel.

  7. Indigo Blue was absolutely fantastic! I just couldn’t put it down.I thought what Indigo was going through was really upsetting, living in a dirty old flat. I was pleased at the end when she was friends with Jo and Aisha because you can’t leave someone out. I think that’s the moralof the story.

  9. I loved this book because it was really exciting i read a chapter every night and told my mum what happened (I probably bored her to death going on and on about it!!) I love the type of books that you write because they make you think, and remember that their are some people who have to hide, i really enjoyed the book and cant wait till the another book comes out!!
