Indigo Blue

Will Indigo choose her family or her friends?

‘I need a seriously brilliant daydream . . . because everything is far from OK . . .’

When Indigo’s mum announces that they’re moving – just Indie, Mum and baby Misti – Indie doesn’t understand. Why the hurry? Where are they going? Will her best friend, Jo, still be there for her?

In a dingy old flat with a grumpy neighbour, no heating and only biscuits to eat, Indie begins to realize that her mum’s got a reason for running away – a secret no one can admit . . .

  1. Indigo is so pretty:) i love the names chosen in it- Indigo, Misti and Jo:) i read it about almost 4 years ago now as i borrowed it from the local library, so i cant remember every detail, but was indigo scared of sharks but loved sealife and dolphins?? it might have been another book i have read, but i am pretty sure it was this one…? very sad brought me to tears but also very good book, i dont normally like books that are this sad, but this one i could not put down:) another good book by Cathy Cassidy:)

  8. Hey Cathy

Tia, are you really 128, or are you just joking around, anyway, I found ‘Indigo Blue’ soooooo inspiring that I read ‘Driftwood’ as soon as I saw it on the reading book shelf in the class room ‘Indigo Blue’ is sad but happy at the same time sad part: Max beating up Anna (Indigo’s mum) and Jo and Indigo’s friendship. Happy bit: Indigo and Jo become friends again and her mum gets better. TADAaaah.
    xxxx lol Leila

    P.S. Tia no offence.

  9. Hey girls,
If you’re looking for a different C.C. book ‘Indigo Blue’ is the one for you. It’s about a girl called Indigo who goes on a journey to several different houses 1: Max’s flat, 2: Mrs Greens rental flat and 3: Indigos and Misty’s (just spelt it like that ’cause the computer wouldn’t let me put it the real way from the book) Gran’s cottage then the other brand new flat! Furthermore I think this book is second best to

M.T.C(P.S.) message to Cathy: I am using my mums email, she is called Leila, and I don’t have my own, well I do, but I can’t remember my password or my email address, also she is a fan of your books too. Seems unusual, yes, I know, but people can like whatever they want.
