GingerSnaps

Is Ginger’s best friend really her biggest rival?

‘You can make a wish come true, if you’re determined . . .’

Gone are the days when Ginger was an outsider, always on the fringes of friendship. She’s swapped puppy fat and pigtails for make-up and hair straighteners and never looked back – until now. Ginger and Shannon are best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily, everything changes. Even the saxophone-playing boy in the trilby hat can’t help – he’s part of the problem. Are Ginger and Shannon drifting apart or can they stay best friends forever?

  3. I have just bought Ginger Snaps last week. I read it within 6 hours!!!! I read 14 chapters without putting it down then I had to go for lunch then I carried on reading it and fineshed it. As I was reading it, it was compeating with my fave book, Lucky Star! Now I have fineshed it, they are drawing and I just CAN’T decide which book is the best! Best book ever!
I am so inlove with Sam Taylor! Blue Lemonade sounds brill too!!! I can’t beleive how great it is! Ginger is amazing and so is Emily. Shannon is a bit iffy but, she’s still great! Love the book!
    Don’t EVER stop writing!

  4. I finally persuaded my dad to buy this book for me, and it was not a disappointment. I read it in about half an hour- i couldn’t put it down. This book- like every other good book, is like cocolate. You so much want to savour it, make every word on every page last forever, but you can’t help reading it so quickly and then wishing there was more. Very few books bring a tear to my eye, but when Sam walked away from ginger at the party, I thought I would never stop crying! The only thing that did stop me was wanting to find out what happens next!

  5. IT’S A FANTASTIC BOOK I NEVER EXPECTED SHANNON TO BE AS HORRIBLE AS THAT THOUGHT IT WAS MADLY FUNNY WHEN THEY PUT PICKLED ONIONS IN THE BISCUITS DID YOU TRY IT? I ALSO LIKED SAM’S GUESSES TO WHAT THE MESSAGE GINGER TRIED TO GIVE HIM.
THIS WAY OF TALKING TO YOU IS MORE COMPLICATED,THAN THE LAST WAY. I JUST HAPPEN TO BE IN THE BORDERS IN THE GLASGOW FORT ON THE SAME DAY AS YOU IF I HADN’T I PROBELY (DEFENTLY) WOULDN’T OF BOUGHT THE BOOK I WOULD OF READ SOMTHING THE HISTORY OF BORDEM AND INSTEAD OF BROWSING YOUR WEBSITE I’D BE DOING SOMTHING LIKE WATCHING THE PLANET SLOW PAINT DRYING CONTEST

  7. This was the first Cathy cassidy book I picked up, and I didn’t know what to expect. After reading this book, I now know this wont be the last Cathy Cassidy book I read. I thought this book was absolutely fantastic, and I am so glad that Cathy has lots more books out that I can buy and read. I couldn’t put this book down, and I was just sad when it ended. I would definately recommend this book to anyone.

  9. i know i am slightly older than some of your other readers but i dont care becuase your books are so amazing. I have read the extracts for ginger snaps in both ice cream and dreams and lucky star (which i love by the way) i was looking forward to reading the actual thing and i wasn’t disapointed i think it was actually my favourite book you have wrote so far even though i do love you other ones aswell. i liked this book so much that i actually read again once i had finished reading it becuase i loved it so much. Sam is a really character and i think the message in your book about fitting in and having friends is a really important message for your readers. anyway i hope you keep writing becuase i will definatley keep reading 🙂
