‘You can make a wish come true, if you’re determined . . .’
Gone are the days when Ginger was an outsider, always on the fringes of friendship. She’s swapped puppy fat and pigtails for make-up and hair straighteners and never looked back – until now. Ginger and Shannon are best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily, everything changes. Even the saxophone-playing boy in the trilby hat can’t help – he’s part of the problem. Are Ginger and Shannon drifting apart or can they stay best friends forever?
I love this book, it’s really good. I felt so sorry for Ginger at the start, but she finally made a true friend.
Probably my favourite out of all your books!xoxo:D
Really good book π
hey cathy! i’ve read many of your books-scarlett,sundae girl, driftwood, shine on daizy star, angel cake, and, of course, gingersnaps. gingersnaps is the best, though. i can relate to the story; like it’s very true that our friends often take advantage of us. driftwood is second best. PLEASE keep on writing stories like these.

I absolutely adore this book, it is riveting to read and i can identify soo much with Ginger, as i know what it feels like to be on the outside looking in, and i would recommend this book to anyone…sooo amazing…
I absolutely loved the book. It was such a good book and I wish there was a sequel.
I adored your book, GingerSnaps, I think you caught the atmosphere of what some real teenagers go through and added a bit of your ‘magic’ into the story! I have to say that I appreciate how much thought must go into these books of ours!
