I thought this book wasn’t coming out until August thats why when I saw it today I bought it. I’m after reading all of Cathy’s books so far so i’ve been waiting for this day and now I can’t wait to open the first page and read another gripping tale by my favourite author.
iloved it!! at first i thought iwasn’t going to like but i really loved the story. what i love most is how often this would happen unlike al her other books it could happen to anyone. i have a best friend a bit like shannon but not really. it is such a realistic story.
i’m halfway thrpugh the book and it’s meaning SO much to me. It’s hard hitting novel which makes you think about society and how people act towards each other. I love it and i hope the message lives on in the novel and in the people who read it forever

Within a day i’ve read about 16 chapters and that says a lot becuase lately I havent been readin much.

this was the best book i ave ever read when i want to bed i woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t get back to sleep so i picked up the book started reading from chapter 3 and finshed it that night bcause i couldn’t but it down it was 3’o’clock in the morning when i finshed the book

Wow!TGingersnaps is a heart beating,funny,mysterious book with romance,drama and friendship filled into it!I loved this book and be sure to ask for Sam Taylors number!Its about a girl called Ginger who is a bit of an outsider but as she gets to comp she drops that look and swaps her piggy bank for mini skirts and her chocolate for shoes.Now shes cool with great friends,well at least that is what she thinks but then when Sam Taylor comes in and melts her stone heart Shannon is not the same!The boys normally like her not Ginger.Then they start tearing apart and when Emily Croft is used a ‘makeover project’ by Shannon,Gingers life starts tearing at the seams but then as the girls head into english a really cool teacher called Mr Hunter comes in and Shannon falls for him!He just likes all of his pupils but when she invites him to her party and he doesn’t bother with her then she starts making allegations up.Sam Taylor and Gingersnaps stick together os at the end they go out and leave Shannon as a has been!
I love this book it was so gripping i could’nt put it down i read it in a hour! its the best book ever i love how the secret of Sam and Ginger’s reletionship gets out its so heart aching!
Cathy gingersnaps is a GREAT book! I love it soo much i got it yesterday and i’ve read it twice! Mt fav characters are Sam and Ginger! Oh and thanks for the Gingersnaps aswell!!
