GingerSnaps

Is Ginger’s best friend really her biggest rival?

‘You can make a wish come true, if you’re determined . . .’

Gone are the days when Ginger was an outsider, always on the fringes of friendship. She’s swapped puppy fat and pigtails for make-up and hair straighteners and never looked back – until now. Ginger and Shannon are best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily, everything changes. Even the saxophone-playing boy in the trilby hat can’t help – he’s part of the problem. Are Ginger and Shannon drifting apart or can they stay best friends forever?

  7. I absoloutely loved this book, not only because its amazingly written, but because it taught me something. I was going through some stormy times with my best mate, a pretty, stylish, popular girl like Shannon, and I could see she was heading somewhere I didnt want to go to. You can make some good and bad choices in friendships, and its MEGA important you make the right ones!
I loved all your books, cathy – keep up the fab stuff! xxxx

  8. This Book Is About A Girl Named Ginger Who Hates Her Name. One Day She Decides To Act Different, Careless. When she goes to a secondry school she never looked back at the horrible times. At this school she is popular, and cool. When she meets a guy named Sam she has a crush on him but her best freind Shannon thinks he’s weird.

  9. This was my first Cathy Cassidy book and I loved every minute of it.I am like Ginger as I have been bullied.I think it was great that she stood up Shannon in the end .I cant believe she had to hide her relationship with Sam from Shannon. There are some far fetched bits like Mr Hunter fancing Shannon and Ginger!!! Its a good book and I am going to go and buy Dizzy I think
