GingerSnaps

Is Ginger’s best friend really her biggest rival?

‘You can make a wish come true, if you’re determined . . .’

Gone are the days when Ginger was an outsider, always on the fringes of friendship. She’s swapped puppy fat and pigtails for make-up and hair straighteners and never looked back – until now. Ginger and Shannon are best mates, but when they befriend lonely Emily, everything changes. Even the saxophone-playing boy in the trilby hat can’t help – he’s part of the problem. Are Ginger and Shannon drifting apart or can they stay best friends forever?

Reviews of GingerSnaps

  1. I thought the book was OK… I liked it, it is not my fave, but it is better than some others. I didn’t like the kissing parts… I am not a big fan of love stories; but I saw the plot, and I liked it!

  2. It is a book about Ginger and Shannon who are best friends then another girl Emily comes along and a boy called Sam who everyone thinks is weird! A problem appears when Shannon does not like Sam or Emily. but Ginger likes these people and wants to be their friend but still wants to be friends with Shannon. Will Ginger do the right thing?

  6. I thought Gingersnaps was a fab book! I loved the way Sam Taylor was always trying to impress Ginger. I hated the way Shannon always acted. I think that she was far to bossy. She was OK to start with but got worse and worse. I loved the idea of a school magazine. I was happy when Emily got a great makeover but felt she should have been able to do some things she actually liked. I love Cathy Cassidy books.
