Driftwood

Can Hannah stop her friends from drifting apart?

‘I feel like I’m losing my best mate . . .’

Hannah and Joey have been best friends forever – just the two of them. But when Joey’s new foster brother, Paul, turns up, everything changes. First Joey falls for Hannah’s brother, Kit. Then Paul complicates things – with some kittens, a chocolate bar and a stripy pink bicycle.

Hannah’s world is turning upside down. Can you rescue a friendship when it’s drowning? Can you save a friend in trouble – if they don’t want to be saved?

  2. Hello Cathy Cassidy and Cassidy’s fans!
Welcome to Hannah’s messed up, eye wateringly emotional, werd but wonderful life. Join her on her journey through right and wrong, when trying to fix everything up… Find out if she actually fixes things and gets a happy ending at the end… Or not… People in my class say that this book is just for girls… But it isnt, its for both genders! I’m a boy and I very much enjoyed this book and I recommened you all to read it! I have read all of Cassidy’s books, they are all marvelous! However Driftwood is one of my favorates from Cassidy’s selecton of books, this book has some very interesting characters who all have many different bizzarre problems and give us advice at the end on how to solve those sort of problems. This book just blows my mind it is out of this world!
Thank you Cathy Cassidy and everyone for having the time to read my review on this ridiculosly amazing book and I hope this review has convinced some of you guys to actually read Driftwood… If it did, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did, its a book worth reading! Cassidy should get the biggest credits and thanks from everybody! But don’t
worry Cathy I will always thank and support you by reading every book of yours that come out tell/recommend others to read as well! Goodbye Cathy and everybody and have a nice day! X πŸ™‚

  10. When I was younger, I would literally read your books all the time! I remember getting them all for Christmas once, after begging my parents non-stop for them (which made me a very happy girl).
Driftwood has some pretty deep topics, especially around the character of Paul, which I never really picked up on at that age. But recently, I re-read it, noticing so many emotional and strong messages – which hit me a lot harder now.
Also, I thought I would mention, something about Paul really reminds me of my friend… He also wears plaits in his hair and previously dyed it green too (it’s now purple I think)!
But thank you for basically making my childhood! If I ever have/adopt kids of my own, I’ll surely introduce them to all of your fantastic stories.
